Tennis Club
Located in the heart of Wheelers Hill and right behind the Golden Mile, at Sunnybrook Drive (Melway 71 H7), the Wheelers Hill Tennis Club (WHTC) is the proud owner of six wonderful artificial grass courts, in bright orange and green colors.
 
The courts are accessible to members 7 days a week, and the annual fees are moderate.
With more than 260 members, we are a blossoming club where social and competitive tennis can be played on high quality courts. Both public and private coaching is available with our club coach. Members are welcome to have guests play for a small fee.
Other organisations and clubs also enjoy our facilities. This includes Caulfield Grammar and Eildon Park Tennis Club, as well as local community groups. Our clubhouse was purpose built in 1984 and is very well maintained.
WHTC has 8 sponsors, and we encourage our members to use the services of Hanmoore Financial Services, Ray White Real Estate, Fratelle Hair and Make-Up, Bendigo Bank, Coach Approach, OHM Accounting, Executive Carpet Cleaning and Hocking Stuart Real Estate.
We are very proud of the lights that were installed in 2008, contributing to the success of our club by allowing 4 courts to be used on weekday evenings until 10.30 pm and in the weekends until 8.00 pm. Mondays and Tuesdays are already fully booked out and we are looking at organising other competitions on some of the remaining midweek nights.
Our club is organising more and more events to establish itself even firmer in the community and WHTC encourages you to check out the facilities and become a member, we will make you feel very welcome! |
